Thanks
for visiting the CD4JON website, this is what it's all about.
Last year my good friend
Jon Emmett died of heart
failure. Jon,
myself and other friends enjoyed live music and got to know a lot of
bands around our neck of the woods, that being High Wycombe and West
London, At his funeral we had authentic blues duo
Delta
Echoes play some old blues songs on
National
Steel guitars and later in the evening
Leroy, Sparky and Nobby dedicated
their gig to Jon. Later that month
Storm
Warning played a gig in memory of Jon.
Since then I have had several offers from bands to play a memorial gig,
which may
still go ahead, but in the meantime and in time for the first
anniversary of Jon's death I came up with the idea of a compilation cd
of some of the bands we had seen, with the profits going to the British
Heart
Foundation. The response has been fantastic and has now become a double
cd and
could easily have been a triple!
This is the finished article,
all bands I've asked have been exceedingly generous with their work and
this double cd now has 28 superb tracks, some not previously
released.
AVAILABLE NOW
AT JUST
£9.

And remember this is a limited edition so don't miss out!
"CD looks
good - and potentially one of the best CD's of bands currently on the
circuit! I look forward to hearing it."
